commission prices
✧ FULL COLOR ICONS: $30 USD
✧ FULL COLOR BUSTS AND HALF-BODIES: $45 USD
✧ BLACK AND WHITE ICONS: $10 USD
✧ BLACK AND WHITE BUSTS AND HALF-BODIES: $20 USD
✧ EXTRA CHARACTER(S): $10 USD
✧ DEADLINE FEE: $15+ USD (depends on how fast you need the commission to be done)
✧ Canvas sizes will depend on the composition of your commission, but for most icon / bust commissions that I do I usually go with 2000 x 2000. I can render this smaller if need be.
✧ Backgrounds will always be simple or transparent. I will give you both versions after the commission is complete.
your permissions as a comissioner who has paid default prices
So long as you are cordial and respectful, you may make / request any minor or major edits and changes before the final rendering stage. As noted in my terms, I always check in between each stage to see if the piece is still to your liking. You are free to critique the piece as you please during the process. Again, just be respectful.
Fully colored or not, you will receive the same quality of lineart for your piece. Colored pieces will be fully rendered, shaded and will have any effects added to your liking.
what you can't do
Rush me to get your piece done. If you wanted it at a specific time, you should have paid the deadline fee.
Ask to add characters or change the composition completely during the final rendering stage. Before the final rendering stage you are open to make changes to the piece (though this means the commission will get out to you significantly later). Otherwise you may submit another application for another commission.
terms
✧ Payment is always upfront, however I do allow refunds if I have not started on your piece yet. If I'm halfway through the piece, then a partial refund will be issued. No refunds are issued after I have finished your piece.
✧ I periodically check between every stage with clients to offer progress shots, and if you are in a queue of clients I will be sure to let you know I have started on your piece when I've gotten to it + show you a rough sketch of what I have started so far. All previews, regardless of stage, will be watermarked.
PLEASE READ: When I do come to update you on your piece, please let me know if you would like anything fixed or if something is not to your liking. Depending on the complexities of your commission, it can take me anywhere between two weeks to a month to complete. Feel free to use that time to let me know of any extra details you want added or taken out of the piece, or if you would like a partial refund for the commission overall.
✧ Reference images of your character(s) are required, specifically pertaining to original characters. If possible, a little (or big! i don't mind) description of your character would be helpful as well as it gets me into the groove of bringing your OC to life. Doing OC work is particularly my favorite, so don't feel embarrassed or feel the need to hold back any details!
✧ Clients are completely free to post the commission on whatever social media site, but please credit me and link to me when possible. Don't let me catch you reposting my art without credit—you'll come up missing, I promise you that.
transaction process
Fill out my handy-dandy (google) commission form, or DM me via twitter @jentchi!
We dish out the nitty gritty, I give you a quote, and if all goes well then the payment will be issued through either paypal or venmo.
The second the payment is sent through, I'll start on your commission via rough sketch regardless of your position in queue.
I'll check in with you multiple times offering progress shots for your thoughts (again, please let me know of anything you want me to change during this process).
Once I finish the piece and it is approved by you, I'll be sure to send it over via e-mail in a winrar/zip file with all applicable HQ images.
